GMG switch to GES TRaffic throughout the whole group. This includes the Real and Smooth brands. GMG had previously used GES PlanIt only, and the addition of Traffic now allows them a complete integrated sales planning, traffic and accounting system. Gavin Martin, Group Inventory Manager for GMG, says: "The implementation of a more integrated system has resulted many significant benefits for GMG. One of these has been the ability to automatically import electronic orders from our national sales partners, resulting in improved accuracy and a faster turnaround. The GMG traffic department is now able to spend more resource on intelligent inventory management, rather than on data entry." |
